Vijay's next big release will be Sarkar, which is being directed by AR Murugadoss. The film will be gracing the big screens during the upcoming Diwali season. Meanwhile, it has been officially confirmed that Vijay's next film after Sarkar will be directed by hit film-maker Atlee. Now, certain updates have been doing the rounds regarding this upcoming movie of Vijay, which has been tentatively titled as Thalapathy 63. According to a recent report by Times Of India, director Atlee stated that the pre-production works of the film has begun.
"I am not usually fearful, this time in fact , he confidence and responsibility is a little more. So I was thinking of doing something bigger and better. I have got the knot for the film and we are working on the preproduction and we are working on the preproduction work. Expected the unexpected", director Atlee was quoted as saying to Times Of India regarding his upcoming film with Vijay. As yo all know, Vijay and Atlee had previously teamed up for two movies and both the films had emerged as big blockbusters. Both Theri, which released in the year 2016 and Mersal, released in 2017 used the actor as well as the star in Vijay. We definitely can expect yet another big treat from Vijay-Atlee team in the form of Thalapathy 63.

ATM in the last lap
Vijay's Azhagiya Thamizh Magan is fast nearing completion. Directed by Bharathan, the movie features Shriya opposite Vijay.
Produced by Appachan, the highlight of the film is the musical score by A R Rahman. The movie is about a youth possessed by ESP (Extra Sensory Power).
The latest buzz doing rounds is that the movie would go to Telugu soon.
Popular Tollywood star Mahesh Babu has expressed his desire to the Telugu remake of the movie.
It may be recalled that films starring Mahesh Babu like Okkadu and Pokkiri were remade in Tamil starring Vijay.

Azhagiya Tamil Magan makes money
Quite appropriate to its name, Vijay's Azhagiya Tamil Magan's (ATM) has made enough money even before its release.
According to reports, producer Appachan has made enough money from the movie even before its release.
Buzz is that Azhagiya Tamil Magan has made a new record among Vijay films in terms of business.
It is said that Pyramid Saimira Theatres had brought the distribution rights of Azhagiya Tamil Magan for a whopping amount of Rs 25 crore.
With shooting is expected to complete soon, it is expected that the film would hit theatres on Deepavali. Directed by Bharathan, Azhagiya Tamil Magan has Shreya and Namitha opposite Vijay.
Azhagiya Tamil Magan controversy to end
Appachan, the producer of Azhagiya Tamil Magan (ATM), has agreed to pay a sum of Rs 6.5 lakh to one Mohammad Farookh, who filed a case claiming that the story of ATM belonged to his production house.
Farookh had filed case alleging that the story belonged to his production house and Appachan had agreed to pay Rs 7.5 lakh after the intervention of Tamil Film Producers Council. However Appachan had paid only Rs one lakh.
The case came up before Judges A P Shah and Jothymani. After assurance from Appachan to pay the remaining, the Judges posted the hearing to Wednesday and a final verdict is expected then.
ATM stars Vijay, Shriya and Namitha in lead role. It is directed by Bharathan.
